This goes along with keeping a positive attitude no matter what the situation may be.

Another thing that you should keep in mind is that you can only control what you can do as a poker player. You should never let anybody else at the table distract you from playing your game. And believe it or not this is going to happen to you time and time again. Just let the other players do what they want while you concentrate on your game. The higher your level of concentration, the better off you are going to be in the long run.

Finally, remember that only you can control the way that you play. So many people get worked up at the poker table and let others control their emotion. When you let this happen you are only putting yourself in a bad position. Of course, you will want to try to win, but doing so without bothering with the competition is the best way to go.
